Well, now I count atleast 9, but he sure took of a lot over the years!
(I am curious though on how close you are from him with taking those photos, cause I fear I may have a lens that is just a "bad copy", and not taking sharp enough photos, even though it is anything but a cheap lens, and no, the body is a a6500, so it should be taking sharp pics)

I was between 30-40 metres from him. Close enough for some decent shots with my Coolpix.

With a Coolpix:razz:
I have one too, and yup, you can bash it around, and video is good, it's small, waterproof, but I doubt mine takes that good of a picture! (aw120).
Photoshoping?, if so, any special functions of note?
Don't want to derail thread, and there is a "taking phots thread" on "open chat", and if you have time, wouldn't mind hearing about what works for you as I have to say, many of your photos are really sharp looking, plus there just damn nice shots.

I don't spend a lot of time editing. Just resize and little bit of brightening if it is a dark photo. I have no real edit software other than freebie crap. I might play some with the enhancers on IG but for the most part, not much. IG was designed for phones and tablets. Hard to really make a difference on such a small viewable photo.
The first photos are from spring 2015. The last photos are from winter/spring 2012. Knowing that, does that help with the age guesses?
Absolutely gorgeous photos! You sure take some breath taking ones. These are fun to learn on too. I don't know much about these guys but my guess was 9-10 years old.

I had him at 8 in 2012, which would put him at 11 in 2015. I am not an aging expert by any means, but you can see the rings are stacking up tight at his base in 2015. I never saw him after that spring.

If you haven't, try "Snapseed" app. Great for editing on mobile. Better than instagram stuff.
For PC, I've had good results with Gimp but sometimes it's a real piece of crap to use as something simple can be unnecessarily complicated in it.
Lots of praise for light room. I will be trying that out next
