Yup.
And the survey asks if you will strongly agree with neck snaring, aerial shooting and poisoning as legitimate population control methods. Make your voice heard.

I did and I was not shy about the comments (No Foul Language), but I was very blunt. My hope everyone does the survey.

Posted. Here are my two text box responses, just my two cents:

#1 All animals are impacted by human decisions. Society has deemed it necessary to develop forest land and therefore we must manage all wildlife impacted by that as a necessity. This includes all large predators. It is an inefficient and biologically incorrect strategy to only manage ungulates. It's also unrealistic to expect habitat loss from humans will be stopped. Therefore it's the burden of culling animals that humans need to use to help balance the scales in an artificial way to best approximate what nature had as an original balance. This is my opinion as a urban resident, outdoor enthusiast, and overall rational thinker who is tired of overly emotional and political decisions being used to protect those who cannot stomach the fact that true wildlife management is not to protect societies preferred species, but to protect the collective which may involve temporary detriment (killing) of certain species. I hope we change our ways and manage our wildlife and wild lands in the future much better today. I want to see all forms of wildlife, including the wolf, prosper in as close of a balance as we can obtain in our human-impacted country for generations to come.

#2 Please review this survey and take out all suggestive or biased wording. If you truly want to make a difference, please do not pick a side other than that of an impartial middle, letting this survey truly speak for those who take it.

ALSO, I think everyone on HBC and those others who take this survey should sign up for further news. This way we can continue to have a voice.

Notice how it asks what country you from .......

People from other Countries are even helping organizations like thus influence the NDGreens to make their emotional decisions, just like the GBear.

Pathetic bunch of hypocrites . All of them .

I have to say that there were some reasonable pre-populated answers that were pro-wolf cull.

Thanks for posting the survey.

Done

Also explain the grass roots movement that would see all users of the bush in BC have to put forward funding that would eb used to improve habitat and all wildlife, also gave them an email to see if the will send me anything else.

Speak up folks, we need to be heard with rational thoughts and science, not emotions!!!

Cheers

Made use of the comments section- politely explained how science based management was necessary and we should trust our game MGR's and biologists.

Gave my 2 cents in the comments section. Said there cannot be a double standard when managing wildlife and we cannot stand back stand back and let a species go extinct. That if science says managing wolves will help declining ungulate numbers than it should be done.

In mine I said that I find it "disappointing that groups like yours solicit emotional responses in order to usurp sound science with reckless disregard for threatened species such as the northern carabou"

That right there is one of my biggest concerns. A government basing its decisions on third party biased interpretation of data and not ITS own biologists and AG reports. Seriously, who in their right mind is OK with this. Who?

If you think anything you contribute to this survey matters, you're kidding yourself. If the results of this survey don't validate their position, they will either toss the results or fudge them to suit their position.

Tried to go on to the site says it is down, so we probably did our part and like usual when they don't get their way the shut it down. One other thing go onto Ocean Adventures website, it is just loaded with the anti wolf propaganda, put your 2 cents in, it it fun, they are so pig headed it is unbelievable.

Interesting. I just did the survey and got this as a response. I only did it the one time. Are they cherry picking the results?

The owner of this survey has disabled users from taking the survey multiple times. Since we already have a response from you we cannot accept your response at this time.

Just took the survey.

I was please to share with those vegans my suggestion to force people whishing for a ban on predator hunting or trapping to first have to view 15 minutes of video of wolves devouring a live deer. Don't forget to grab a few kleenex .

We have all seen what "artificial" wildlife strategies accomplish( re:species introduction and eradication) world wide. Hmm. wondering what really is the problem?
