If that is your training I hope you are hunting off a horse or a quad! Because she's going to be a rough go up mountains with 50lbs. :)

I've probably hiked close to 300 miles this year and climbed the equivalent of Mt. Everest once or twice. You'll probably make er, but you'll wish you started earlier.

50 lbs of beer and walk up Kenny Dam hill. if the natives dont rob you of your cargo, you'll be in good shape

you play in the CIHL, you're gonna be fine with a few hills.

Wont even make it half way up that hill without getting rolled, especially for beer.

I have a 180 acre lawn that needs cutting, so if you want to get into shape quick, come on over and yes all sides are uphill, all four ways! LOL
Good luck on your hunt!8-)

Now that my leg has almost healed ,i go every morning on a 6 mile hike with 40 pounds in the back pack ,when hiking you have to work out on steep hills ,it don't help much on a flat surface walking. Big whitey you must be young fella because i tried the mt finlayson thing last Sunday with 40 pounds in my back pack and it took me 2hr to go up and back down ,and boy was i sacked out latter.

You'll be fine, prepare to hurt hard though! We hiked my ram out in just under 12 hours and that was hell. Looking back though it was no big deal to "cowboy up" for the one day!
