I met the qualifications (and then some) on the form you linked and was told that my application would not be considered because I was not a member at the time. (I am now but I have not reapplied...rude best describes the treatment I received when I applied).

That was a few years ago though...

I have an issue with the Govt requiring mandatory training and then contracting the provision of the training out. They do the same with the hunting guide training for guide licences. The BCGOA runs that program and pockets $200 of my money for it...$200 to an outfit I'm not particularly fond of.
