Do you believe the latest call for conversation funding would be good or bad for BC hunters? At first glance, more funding for conservation must surely be good news until I read that it is proposed to enhance protected areas and led by the Green Budget Coalition, a group of 19 of Canada's top environmental organizations, the same groups who influenced the NDP's decision to cancel the grizzly bear hunt.

It will all depend how it was spent, or should I say, who receives it.
Like you say, if it goes in the direction of making more "Protected Areas" then it's bad news, IMO.
And just because it gets protected, doesn't = enhanced.
More protected areas for wolves as well potentially.
Money for "Enhancement only", then good, but that's the problem, who actually knows how it will go????

Yes its for more parks to meet the quota as well as for some good PR and photo ops with the FN’s......and yes you can count on Fed taxes going up soon to pay for all the spending.
