Wabbits

Hunt at dusk, sides of roads or bases of trees.

Yes they are the long legged racing kind. Bobcats and Lynx's love them.

I use a .22, some people use a bow. Rats I put the wrong damn picture up, I'll try again

I hope this works.

Got this guy last fall at the base of a tree. Walked past him twice before my eyes focussed properly

went up to Wigwam river couple o years ago, saw lots of rabbits, seems to me they didn't have the long legs, is this possible?

Yes quite possible

You were probably looking at eastern cottontails. They're schedule C so you can hit 'em as much as you want.:)

I like to still hunt them. Find a area with lots of sign and look for there black round eyes. I use a 20ga single shot. but screw rabbit! Grouse open on sept 10!!

I use a 338 win mag as they are quick buggers so I want to make sure I slow them down!

the proper way to hunt wabbits is with a single shot 22
must be a head shot
preferably on the run

Had an LEH does tag in 3-37 up around Adams lake 3 years ago. I was new to the area and did a fair bit of driving around getting aquainted with it and managed to get a couple with the 410.

They run and then stop for a second at the edges fo the trees before ducking in. Then you shoot 'em.
