Fanny pack

I am looking into getting a new day pack for short hunts. I have been looking at maybe trying a fanny pack style like the Badlands Monster and was hoping to get some feed back Pros and Cons.

No experience with the monster, but i own the Badlands "Ambush". Picked it up at Cabelas when it was 50% off (i think they are discontinued now).

I have had a great experience with it. It's very comfortable and almost waterproof. I use it when i'm fishing so it's on me anywhere from 4 to 8 hrs per day. Their stuff is well built but tends to be a little on the heavy side. Shouldn't matter for a fanny pack though. Wouldn't hesitate to buy any of their fanny packs again.
