I believe that a 300 win mag in any bullet configuration will down deer sized game IMO.

they are a bonded core soft protected point, which should perform better than a regular soft point such as the Federal power shock or the Winchester PowerPoint. The price is usually only a few dollars more per box so from a financial standpoint there isnt any point 'cheaping out'. You spend more $ on fuel driving to the store to buy ammo than the price difference between the two. My only personal experience with Fusion ammo is in a 308 Winchester 165 grain. I sighted in a guys rifle with that ammo and accuracy was more than acceptable.

I've used it the last 2 years on deer out of my 243, 95 grain bullet, and they worked very good. Good penetration and opened up like they should. I'll be using them in my 270 this year.
