i would have voted in favor of the hunt even though i don`t hunt them myself. But that`s just my choice i hunt everthing else. Hunters have the right to choose what they want hunt. I respect and congratulate each and everyone on their successes.

OK, lets take a realistic look at the results.
If every vote in favour of the hunt was from HBC, that would mean that only 18% of the Members bothered to vote.
More than likely less than 50% are Members so that means that maybe 9% of HBC voted.
It's estimated that there are a bit over 100,000 hunters in BC, that would mean that less than 4% of hunters bothered to vote.
That's pretty sad. :-(
Methinks we have to look in the mirror a bit, maybe the antis, the NDP, FN's, the what evers aren't our real enemy.
