Winter Camping and Small Game Hunting Locations?

Hi guys,

New to hunting this year. Looking to take my wife and kid winter camping for New Year's. Hoping that it will be in a scenic area and in an area with small game - rabbits and/or grouse.

I'm in Vancouver. I was thinking around Tulameen or in Cathedral Lakes. Open to almost anywhere else.

Any recommendations?

Would only be hunting bunnies as birds are closed in all regions now, except ptarmigan up north.
