Are we assuming this is Texas Walker? I don't see him saying it is. I don't know why but I have a hard time believing this is him!

Regardless the videography is great.

Not a bad looking vid.

The next vid that pops up on youtube by the same vid creators looks good too, although the wheeling doesn't look too epic, but the scenery is great. And whats up with a Dodge truck being strapped to a couple of Jeeps?

I don't think this is Texas Walker's vid, nor do I think he's Asian, and if I had to guess, based on his penchant for trolling type comments, he posted this video for reasons other than it being good entertainment. I'm probably wrong, but like to go out on a limb sometimes.

I believe they are BC residents otherwise, based on my limited knowledge, it would not have been legal for the guide to leave the hunter unattended.

I know a tree stand that always has bears around it. Not baited, just a place they like to feed early spring.

Comments in this thread is a good separation of who's who. Scoping with rifle and no binos ( a couple of times) with the guide right there is brutal on the guides part, smoking a dart, pretty sure a doe on a guided trip would be a no no, plus a couple other little things. Just my opinion.

Depending on when the hunt was filmed....the use of the drone was probably illegal as well.

Could be, they do not have great ratings. Actually some of the worst I have read. Might say a lot about the practices witnessed in the video. I hope for the Outfitters case that they are BC boys as if what people are saying is all true, this video could be damning. But it made me laugh....

This was the fall on a side hill out of a stand that looks just like the one that he shot his whitetail doe out of, the one that had a saskatabush food plot out front. Bears like alfalfa too.

I think I remember seeing on this outfitters website that they offer "meat" hunts for resident hunters for like, $1500 for 3 days or something like that. Probably was all legal...not sure about the drone, but didn't look like they were using it for scouting or hunting.

As far as the hunt being "Epic"........well, definatley an interesting use of the word :???:
I think it is entirely possible Texaswalker has posted this with "tongue in cheek" so to speak...lol !
If so, no big deal, I get his humour.....I don't see any reason for calling him racist.

I cannot tolerate hunting vids at the best of times, but I had a quick look anyway, lured by the "Epic" title. The drippy sentimental and fake "exciting" sound track on this one repulsed me more than usual. I lasted seconds before moving on.

hahaha ! Ok well I dont know then...maybe he's just trying to get everyone all riled up ? I don't know Texaswalker, havent bothered to read his other postings and don't make judments on people based on internet profiles. All I know is posting that video as an "Epic" hunt had a level a humour to it......maybe we should post more videos like this, if the anti-trophy hunting types start thinking this is what we call "Epic", maybe they'll leave us alone....lol !!!

Xiaolongbao is a type of Chinese steamed bun (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steamed_bun) (baozi (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baozi)) from the Jiangnan (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jiangnan) region

Not a bad video. Not sure if he's Asian as some are claiming. He's posted an Avatar of Mao. He'd have to be bat-shit crazy as Mao was responsible for killing millions of Chinese during his reign and TW would have ended up in a gulag for owning a gun or hunting.

Okay, I'll take a stab at this....
No...sure as hell don't think TW is in this video.
Yes, some of the photography is nice (gotta luv those drones and what they can do)
But....now I may be wrong here....is this a "mockumentary" in TW's eyes??
Otherwise...I'm totally lost to the significance of posting this to begin with....
Nice rifle though!....forget the brand etc...but seen them at reliable.....sweeeet!!!

This video is a good example of the stereotypical lower mainland hunter in the Christian Valley. Fancy equipment, drones, scoping. Missed the part of walking up to people when they are in their stands though :)

Yeah, all sorts of conclusions/assumptions can be made from this video. Is that a night vision monocle at approximately the one minute mark, just after he pulls out the spot light?

Bugle M In
12-15-2017, 04:51 PM
Tons of money being spent there....just to sit in a stand and wait for something to show up under 50 yards away.
Was that a bino/range finder combo????!!!! costs how much????
Rifle....7 to 10 grand????
A guided hunt costs????
And, a not so overly mature bear and a doe...................PRICELESS!

But hey...when you die, you cant take your money with you.....might as well keep the economy going
on overpriced toys.

From BC press release: "
The provincial government has amended the Wildlife Act, making it illegal to operate or possess a drone while on a hunting expedition. It is now also illegal for third parties to supply hunters with information obtained from a drone.

The change was made to the same section of the act that bans hunting with helicopters. Both come with a minimum fine of $2,500, but first-time offenders face as much as a $250,000 fine and two years in jail."
