Anyone from Terrace able to give me an update on the snow conditions / quantity north of town? (6-15)

This sounds like a goat hunt?

1 degree today. About 6 inches of compact snow everywhere. Been raining right to the top of the mtns lately. Haven’t got any more snow since the big dump we got about a month ago. Lakes even up high are not frozen yet.

Snowpacks are below average. We had rain today with the freezing level up at approximately 1700m. Depending on when you come, we are forecast to get approximately 30 to 40cm this weekend as freezing level drop to roughly 700m with rain at valley bottoms. Most elevations have a moist snow pack so suspect a crust will form if temps cool enough before we get the weekend snow. An upper level ridge is supposed to arrive Tuesday which will cool and dry things out and we will likely see some sun. If I had an LEH for goat, I would certainly be heading out. :) Good luck.
