Is it legal to kill a grizz if it has claimed your kill and you don't have a tag for grizz and you don't feel threatened?

If the grizz was 'meat hunting' and not 'trophy hunting' then its legal to shoot the grizz, provided you leave the hide and the claws and the head in the bush. If the bear was 'trophy hunting' then no, its not legal. Clear as mud?

As long as the value of tags you cut are equal to both a moose and grizz tag you should be OK

If the CO argues just tell him you read it on the internet so you are right and he is obviously wrong lol

Only legal if you use a hammer
& of course you still must cut all your tags, as stated earlier

Wow.
Okay first off if a grizzly claimed your dead animal and it isn't charging you, walk away.
2nd If you don't have a grizzly LEH tag you shouldn't shoot a grizzly.
3rd Only shoot a grizzly if it is charging you. Then report it to the CO's.
4th The CO might replace your cut tag if you report a grizzly took your animal.

Depends if its low or high tide, and if you've already cut your grouse tags.

And use lots of KY, a bears cavity can be sandy and dry. That's just common sense

Antlered or Anterless Grizz?

In, or outside of the Great Bear Rainforest?

Really depends on whether you are planning to make jerky or pepperoni out of the bear...

Makes total sense. Take photos & note the location if the CO is unable to attend the site.
Never heard of it happening in BC. Heard of it happening in the states.

you'd want to tell him that looking the other way will get him in on a half batch of grizzly jerky. Mmmm, jerked grizzle. Yum yum.

Keep in mind ANYTHING you say to them could be used against you in court.
