I try and keep my mind off it and think about opening bow season on the 25th for blacktails here :)
I have 4 4pts and a 5x5 that I have been watching for months. I need to zip one before I go elk hunting.

I've had the flu liek symptoms for a couple weeks now. Heading over to cranbrook on the 29th of sept. in search of a bull, calf or even cow in archery season with my new compound bow.

I'm itching for the season too. Heading up to 5-1 tomorrow to scout for the moose draw we got for fall. Just packing things up in the garage for the scouting trip gets me all pumped up for the upcoming season...dried up blood on some rope and the occasional vector bar wrapper...you know the stuff you find in your pack. Will leave early tomorrow, no gun though just a camera. Hopefully some pictures or video to take.

Climbing the walls waiting for moose season to begin. Starting to lose sleep because of it! I thought only elk hunters got to feel this way!

Heading north in 8 days for sheep, goats, caribou, moose and other assorted tasty things...mmmmm good.
