This season has been exciting to say the least. I have only been able to get out 6 or 7 days due to commitments and surgery recovery. That being said, yesterday, I sealed the deal on a nice WT doe to finish up my deer season. Early September, my son shot his first deer on my tag. A nice 2 point mulie. A couple weeks later I came across 2 really nice (not huge, but really nice 4 pts) whitetails bedded in the sun. One came home with me. Then yesterday, I took a nice wt doe.

This is the first year I have tagged out on deer (wife asks why I don't do this every year? As if I am going to the supermarket). Not complaining but a little disappointed that I am done. I am primarily a meat hunter so I wouldn't have done things differently, but what now?
