i was in regon 6 the first shot was 288yards blew that shot i think the sheep fever kicked in then after the first shot the rams ran down the mnt and then straight towards us now let me tell you trying to pic out your ram when 12 are runing at you is very tuff shir got the hart pumping i settled down and found my ram and took the second shot at 260yds and i did not take long for him to drop i always use my bypod when i mnt hunt find it really nice for me it was just about a straight on shot, just a bit of an down hill angle but nothing crazy by bullet traveld straight through him.
hey guys just wanna say thanks for all your respones on here

KK; Excellent move to work with the experiance of the Lancasters on your draw of a life time. The time you are hunting and the asisstance you have should insure a Boone and Crockett Ram. One that any sheep hunter would give his right nut for and have it filmed is a bonus. Good Luck

We didn't connect this year but lots of sheep. If we had two more days I would have liked our chances. My 5th straight year in there. Mums the word on this spot! We headed out just a little ahead of you, but in a different direction.

We came from the north. I don't know where the guys with the dogs came from but they downed a ram on Aug 3rd. One guy had a bow but it was taken with a rifle. I didn't meet the boys but I have a good idea who they are. Not many guys hunt sheep with a dog!

Would you mind me asking if this is a hike in location, or would that potentially disclose too much information?
