The Perfect Elk Hunt

This was a pretty special elk hunt; right from the house with our 16 year old daughter and the horses. She shoots our new tikka T3X Lite in 7mm and finally lands an elk after years of close calls. To have the girls and horses help bring it home....awesome. Check out the video:

Oh Rose I was just wondering this morning what your family has been up to this fall. Then I see you posted up a great elk hunt.
That is just so great to see your daughter get a elk so close to home. And to cross the river and not complain about it.
You and your husband are just raising your children up to be some great hunters.
I really liked how all the kids were right at it helping get the meat packed up.
