Moose on highway 77

May be able to hunt around ft nelson on the long weekend. Was thinking about heading up the highway and find some side roads to find a moose. Any close spots in town, or is it better to head further up the 77. Anybody have any hints? Thanks

Lots of moose ..Get off the 777 and hit the side roads ..They are there !..

Luyben road at 25k. Left into can be good, but if rains beware of mud. Also the roads right and left at 15k can be good as well, even elk

And you can shoot 15m off the center line of highway

I know there are moose on the road at, I think it is 129k, the Coles Lake road. Also try the Patry Road, left into just at top of hill after 1 way bailey bridge at 42km

Also try the Sonoma which I think is maybe 132k or something, just roger Petitot River bridge at top of hill
