Just a random question, but do people hunt with sun glasses? Does it help anyone and what kind do you have?

Yes, and why not, you use them to drive to see where you are going when the sun is in your eyes. Do the same thing when hunting !!

I do as well. That way the critter can't see that I'm checking them out. ;)

This made me laugh a little too loud in the office.

I mostly work outside, so I wear sunglasses if it's at all sunny. Same as hunting. Not sure if it helps with picking out certain colours or not, but they're comfortable.

Tried, they got in the way of my binos so I gave up

I wear the same polarized glasses I use for fishing. It really cuts down on the glare and can allow you to see a little deeper into the forest in certain situations. Just get the ones with glare coating.

Like Mikeman; I gave it a go but found they got in the way of my binoculars.

Maui Jims

banyons I think

Pain with bino work tho, fine for running and gunning.

I have lazer eyes, as a side effect I'm pretty photosensitive, so I am in a world of hurt if I leave the house without sunglasses. So yeah, I hunt wearing sunglasses.

Oakley fuel cells. Matte black and polarized.

I wear polarized aviator style sunglasses. I attached a short length of surgical tubing to the ends of the arms to created a loop around my neck. When glassing, I pull off the sunglasses off my face and let them dangle around my neck. This work well for me.

I brought some amber tint safety glasses along one year and found they really help separate the browns and greens....but usually I lose or scratch them so I only take cheap ones hunting

Just make sure they don't have a mirror finish.

I usually bring them with me especially up in the alpine. Also it good just to have the UV protection

On a more serious note, yes I do use sunglasses. In fact I use the below since they have built in bifocals:

They are intended to be used flyfishing to tie on small flies [work great for that too]. My wife hates the look, but everyone else thinks they are cool.

My Binoculars also have the option to use with or without glasses -- with a quick screw down of the eye pieces it changes the eye relief. Think they are Nikon Monarchs.
