Hi all, with the demise of the Trimble GPS Hunt - I switched over to the onX Hunt app for my iPhone [and on-line] usage. Had to re-input my camera locations and other specific data I wanted to have in the bush. So far it seems to be working and the resolution of their base maps seem to exceed the Google images in most areas I have checked out. Unfortunately they are not really BC focused and are USA based on their map overlays [i.e. private land boundaries], But if enough people pushed them they might do something for us - I've been bugging them.

Tracking seems to work well, and you can tag a location rather easily. I like being able to go on my desktop machine and "scout" areas that I want to check out in person.

Below is a sample of Hell's Gate.

Cheers, VFX [fyi -- not associated with them]

Agree, think the private land is out there based on the BC Free Miner maps I have seen.

Unless I am reading it wrong, figure the boxes are private land.
