looking for some pointers in the pemberton area

Good morning all, looking to take my 13 yr old boy towards pemberton for the weekend for his first buck. Any pointers for us? Not looking for honey holes just general info. Have quad, but prefer to walk...

Spur roads off the Hurley will be extremely busy on the weekend. Head further up the Lillooet FSR (West) and climb elevation. Typical migration for BT in the area appears early season moving from West to the Eastern part of the area later in the season - with the easiest hunting in Pemby being November. And the Hurley is shit kicked this year - worst I've ever seen it. I'm pretty sure grading is on stand by until we see some rain (sparks).

I hunt with my kids (10/12) and we see lots of wildlife in the area (we backpack hunt). Lots of grouse this year so bring the 22.
