This may seem like a dumb question but it's my first time hunting in the are,I've been looking at the Fraser Valley Special are map and know that discharge of firearms is not allowed in that area, but I haven't come across anything that says there's no hunting there,so bows not being a firearm should be fine to hunt with in that area?Just making sure I'm not missing some fine print somewhere.

Thanks guys.

You should be good to go....and keep in mind some areas of that restrictions allows firearms when hunting but not target practice.....go for a hike and listen the area out lol...if your going for blacktail...find good dark old timber and learn the spot well.....deer everywhere just gotta find them lol

I saw the two spots that allow shooting single projectile marked on the Fraser Valley Special Area Map?Those are the only areas I'm guessing which would get a lot of pressure?I do have weekdays off usually so that may help and be worth a try.

So a bow is good to go in the non shooting areas then?Good to know....
