gas pumps Pink Mtn to Fort Nelson

Working the logistics of a trip to the northern Peace. Anyone knows if there are fuel (diesel) pumps between Pink Mtn and Fort Nelson? Thanks.

Should be pumps at Buckinghorse 175 mile and Prophet River 232 mile. Whether they are open at a convenient time of day for you is another thing.

The price rises sharply once you are north of Fort St. John as well.

I was working on the reserve in prophet river about three years ago and both gas stations were closed. Almost weekly someone pulled in desperate for fuel. May be reopenened but they were in terrible shape and I doubt it.

I would fill up whenever you have a chance, a year ago I came down from Fort Nelson And stations were closed for various reasons, broken pumps the flu. Etc. Made it to Wonowon on fumes.

Pink Mountain and Buckinghorse are your only options, Prophet hasn't reopened.
Not sure what prices are as I drive right through whenever I go north.

A couple years ago there were some automated sea can fuel stations but we had to try multiple times as they take credit cards only and the signal is weak. I have since bought a slip tank, not a good feeling to be running out of fuel up there.

Buckinghorse is card lock. Make sure you have a credit card.

Carefull some of those tanks are very dirty aswell causing you other problems later..fill up in fort st john bring cans.

Use AFD (credit card option) card locks at buckinghorse or p.m.

They are open 24/7, good clean fuel.
