$20 WINCH @ Home Depot

I was at Home Depot yesterday and saw they were clearing out their winches. They are the type you hook on to the ball of your truck. It can winch 2000lbs, has a 20 foot cable to hook up to your battery for power, and remote cable to controle it. The price is $50 and you get a $30 mail in rebate. I bought a similar one at Costco a couple of years ago for $200. This would be great to haul a moose or elk in to the back of your truck. They are located in the tool clearence area.

Yeah, it comes in a small box. So you could even throw it in a small RubberMaid Tote box. The whole box is smaller than a old style computer monitor. For $20 the wife won't bitch !!!

Thanks.......South end of town near Futureshop or North near Canadian Tire?...hope there are still some there Saturday. I have to pick my wife up at the Comox Airport so if they were that would make my day.

for y'all who started salivating about this little winch - I called Langley HD - sold out I called Poco HD and Abby HD and they have the winch for 99.98 - they said some stores have clearance sales differently according to area/location that they are.

I wish I'd have read newhunterette's osting before I wasted my time going to the abby store.They had no clue of what I was talking about.They had the winch but @99.99,they phoned around,langley,surrey,etc,no luck,must just be a kelowna thing.:confused:

Just picked one up in Vernon. They where $99.98... when i told the sales guy, he phoned Kelowna and found out their price then they did a price match!

And the Mail in rebate on my box is only $20.00.

All said and done - a 2000 lb portable winch by Master (the lock co.) for $30.00 + tax... Not bad!!!

The moral of the story.... If you're in Home Depot and they have'em for $99.00, ask them to price match Kelowna.

Good for you Wetcoastwilly. The Kelowna store is down to only 2 this morning. The clearence area of that store is my favorite spot. Well, that is unless Parastoo is there. SHE IS SOOOO HOT !!! :-D

home depot in victoria doesnt have any but costco has 2500 lb champion winches on for 75.00 picked one up today.

Thanks, I went back and the guy gave me 2 rebates.......Except one thing, did anyone bother to check out the expiry date...Sept 30 2006. Still a good deal for 50 bucks..I set it up in the garage:smile:
