Depending on the type of vehicle you drive, try to get off the main FSRs. Once you run into one, chances are there will be more nearby. I've bagged a limit within a couple hundred feet more than once early in the season. Good luck.

Get off the main roads on to the smaller roads and partially deactivated ones. Christmas tree sized trees and a little bigger. Rabbits/grouse very active in early evening before dusk. There are hundreds of KM of logging roads all around Kelowna within a 20min/30 min drive once you get on a main FSR there are countless smaller roads that branch off they are easy to find and good luck!!
