17/18 hunting forecast

Finally had a chance to take a peak at the bc outdoors hunting forecast.

According to it hunters are going to have fewer opportunities for elk and open season hunters "may also have to reduce their expectations or plan to hunt a bit harder this fall"

Knowing how bad the winter and early spring were combined with a declining population - what are other members thoughts on this? Have you guys seen a more noticeable decline in numbers compared to pre winter?

I should add that this was specifically for region 4

Yep region 4 got hit hard this past winter, other areas not so much, but when i was up there a month ago say a ton of whitey bucks :)
