Wow, just mention a government agency not in the best of light and somebody goes off. Thought we could have some fun bitchin but was wrong. I guess that everybody is above reproach without documentation. Will go back to playing nice with everybody.
My sincerest apologies.

Why not any details? Who were you working for? Do you have a copy of this particular letter? If you do, I think it would be prudent to present it to the hunting community.

I don't see how anyone could tell you that you weren't able to hunt in an area just because you did some sheep work from a helicopter. I can't think of any law that would give them the power to prevent you from hunting in the area.

this was a long time ago and just my best story. My intent was to start a bitchin session to make SRUPP feal better and actually go hunting when he sees how much worse others may have had it. The spot in question was good for moose and elk but just ok for sheep as it turns out.

Thought it would make a cool picture plus we drove him onto the truck like that, covered him up and took him home whole to show my kid who was mad that he didn't get to go.

Thanks, is it possible to change the title of this thread into something more positive? I stirred up more trouble than intended

Not much of a story. I have hunted the area for the past 5 years ( or when me or friends are drawn) and have learned when and where they come out in the spring. Hunted the ugly parts with Criko and my Uncle lots and then found him eating on the old road. I'll take an easy one when it comes along. He measured 6'11" with 7 5/8" front paws and didn't make book so I can't remember skull measurements. Prob weighed around 500 lbs. Good deal, one less to eat me at work.
