Hey all I have a hunt coming up this fall that is very close to the border on 2 different regions. The region line that is in the hunting regs is very rough and I cant really figure out where is the border. I have 2 different back road map books , one is a book and one is a program on my gps. And both have different borders. Any way to figure out exactly where is the official border?

thanks all!

I'd go by the GPS chip for your Garmin

That's what I thought but I looked up recent leh map for a different animal and it looks like the gps is wrong. I'm gonna try and update it and see if it changes. Is back road map books a government supported map?

do you have the overlay for google earth? check your numbers ( coordinates) against that too. Call a CO and see if they can clarify it for you.

All you need is the Hunt Buddy app.

Wow I didn't know we could access maps like that! Bc backroad map books was way off and it gave me a whole half mountain more to hunt.
Thanks so much!!!!

All you need is the Hunt Buddy app.

Plus one on this app.

Don't need a cellular signal to use, so it works great in the wilds.

Will also give you the regulations and seasons for the zone you are in.

This Google Earth overlay link should help out. It's a file that Reach put out quite some time ago. See how you make out with it.

That google earth overlay is great. It was correct as well when it came to my hunting spot.

You can add this file to Google Earth or the Canada Maps from Atlogis app.
