Exploring New Area

I have been looking at maps and I found the Callazon FSR. I typed it into the search and found 5 threads which I have read. I am thinking of heading up there to have a look and possibly camp at the Clearwater Lake Forest Service Site. Any and all info would be great please and thank you. Fish in the lake? Lots of side roads? Main road terrible? Bridge fixed? anything. Thank you in advance.

Pretty deep snow in that country. Not much can winter it.

Bridge is fixed. Quit a few side roads. The main road is pothole rough. My neighbor owns a trapper cabin/trapline way in the road at Williston lake

Very pretty country, good moose area.. Good area to find other hunters in too now that the bridge is back in. Good old cutblocks and wet low meadows with moose sign last time I was back there. Have seen sign of caribou in there also. It's worth the trip for the scenery even!

Does anyone know if there are any elk along this FSR? Are there plenty of grown in roads that a guy could hike into? Any info is great, thanks!
