Hey, everyone!

Im going to be going out camping somewhere down the holy cross FSR or maybe the Marilla this weekend! Are grizzly bears something that I seriously need to be worried about in that area or should it not be much of a concern?! Thanks in advance.

There are wildfires burning out of control all over that area and you want to go camp out in the middle of all of that chaos???

This a troll post or what?

I think a grizz wouldn't be high on the worry list up there!

If your going further North towards the mo morice there are a lot. In the holy cross area I've seen a couple in the several years of bush work in the area. More black bears. Just be sensible and store food wisely and all should be good.

I wouldn't go camping with so many wildfires burning all over.. it's a good way to get trapped in a dangerous situation. A little south they stopped counting the fires there are so many

no it starts at 0km (hwy 16) @ West Fraser, ends at 69km or so @ Kenny Dam reservoir

I'd agree as I was all over that country at one time. Not a great place to hunt them as the terrain sucks which maybe why people don't think there are a lot.

yup just ask the farmers around Binta, or the forestry techs that work around cheslatta, or Kenny dam, they will tell ya about the grizz around there! Moosin

forest fires in that area are not out of control and looked to be contained if not completely out, its been raining off and on. Grizzly are in there but nothing I would be particularly worried about.
