7-16 draw

Hey guys, long story short our group got a cow moose draw for 7-16B from Oct. 1 to Oct.9. We usually put in for 7-11 but our trusty group leader messed up the LEH tag.
None of us have ever hunted that area before. We usually drive through on the way to Elk camp on our way to Chetwyn.
Is there any advice out there for hunting that area?

#'s are low and under growth is thick. Your draw is bit late too. They will be in thick shit. Find a thick willow area no one wants to walk through. It's grunt work.

Quite a bit of new logging in there, Dunkley is hauling no off the 900 Rd. Good unit, get in the willows, red dog wood, and check the new logging slashes early and late. Pray for cold weather!! You can find a moose in there!! Moosin

In behind Hambone lake. Getting quite overgrown but doable if you really want one. You are the reason I did not get it, But lots of luck, It is a good area.
