Not getting any butt shots, just racks

Hi all, looks like these 2 made it through the winter. Really interested in seeing how the split brush guard one on the right develops.

From what I can tell [these are whitetails] but have had differing opinions from a few people. They are down in the valley bottom right now, so I'm pretty sure they are Whities [and based on prelim rack shape], but can't see their butts in my trail camera shots.

Got 2 more bucks on this camera as well, but they are much younger and their antlers have not really formed.

Man the flies are bad!

You are definitely right about the flies and I'm pretty sure you're right about them being Whitetail too.

I'd say whitetails, just judging by the antler configuration and the scrawny necks and small ears on them.

Never judge by antler configuration. 3 point blacktail racks can look like whitetail at this stage.

Then my money is on WT.. without a doubt. I was confused cause your location says VAN... so theres no way to see that there.
We have BT in the back yard, and the 2 bucks look nothing like your pics. Antlers.. the points off the beam... thats WT.

Yes, definately not BT. This is "somewhere" around Kamloops in Region 3 . . . excited about this area so much that we just bought a newer 2 bedroom condo in Kamloops [for under $300K] --- come on retirement!!!!
