I'm heading out at 2 am to set up some trail cams for bighorns in a area I hunted last season. Has anyone put up trailcams for sheep before? Was going to hang a few and hopefully get some good photos and get a glimpse of some potential targets for opening day.

Not intentionally. I set up a cam in a burn with the thought that it would be for mule deer. Had one dorky 4 PT in two years but thousands and thousands of sheep pictures.

I put a cam on a stone sheep/mountain goat mineral lick last august with a 6v battery. We planned on flying in this august, but plans have changed, I'm hoping to get a chance to pick it up sometime this season.

Good luck!!

Lol usually you would be somewhat correct..you can't even come close to any highway where this was left..mulies..bighorn..bears. .
