i am currently up here in chuchill manitoba swimin with the belugas fishin for pike and lookin for polar bears seen one so far i strongly recommend checkin this area out the whales are incredible we had pods of 50 behind the zodiac this morning what a rush

Keep your eyes open for Grizzers as well. My Dad is the Director of Wildlife for MB and had a few of his staff photograph 2 or 3 different grizzers south of Churchill in the last few months.

They are movin' east.....further and further but staying above the treeline. (for you BC'ers....in MB we call the tree line basically where the topography turns to more of a tundra type environment.....unfortuntaely we did and do not have an "alpine" tree line).
