7-29 moose & Burden lake fishing

Hey guys just wondering if anyone had the 7-29 moose draw last year. we are headed up this fall for the first time and was just curious about the area. planning on camping at Burden lake and wanted to know if anyone had any luck fishing there?
also curious how much extra fuel guys are taking with them, long ways from a gas station

Burden is stocked. Take a radio. Lots of traffic

Burden fishing is decent. Popular spot thought so maybe not a bad idea to have an alternate spot picked out just in case. Finlay is super busy with lots of logs being hauled to the Manson dump at 100km, and some heading to town in that stretch. Lots of good side roads of the finlay all the way up to Omineca river. Real busy unit but lots of road and decent mix of game. Good luck. Ps. Radio with RR channels definetly recommended on this unit.

what dates are you going up
first time I went in there 15 minutes we had a moose
last year same time frame didn't see a thing except wolves
were going back this year same area as last but two weeks earlier.
