Rabbits in Quesnel

Hey guys,i want to go to Quesnel this weekend and i'm planning to go for rabbits with my bow.....somebody knows where to look for them? I've never been up there so i have no idea where to start searching.

Are rabbits open year round? If so, I'd like to find some here on Vancouver island.

You should double check the regs but I'm pretty sure rabbits aren't open until August. August-April I believe.

Make sure you get your terminology correct. Hares, specifically snowshoe hares are common and widespread in the central interior, but not open season during summer months. Check your regs for season dates.

Rabbits are invasive, generally schedule c, but I am unaware of any populations in the area.......go hunt the UVIC campus in Victoria;-)

I'm looking for cotton tail rabbits....scedule "C"....so year around season :P
