Moose in abottsford!!??

So my brother text me a little while ago claiming he saw a cow and calf in a field near sumas way, I told him he saw a horse and colt and asked what he put in his coffee lol
Wondering if anyone else here has ever heard of such a thing? Or anything about these 2 as im sure plenty of people must have witnessed this

Yup sums mountain is full of moose.. hope the season starts before we can not hunt there due to encroachment.

I saw a moose walking across 200 St in Langley a few years ago so anything is possible.

it is possible; but what is even more possible is that he saw either elk (which are totally there) or horses like you said. There are moose not too far from there though so anything is possible

Have seen moose sign in Chilliwack...and elk sign....very possible due to being a stones throw for abby.

Ya I guess so eh, my dad did see a family of elk in a field on annis rd in chilliwack a few years back too

I have trailcam video of a bull in the Chilliwack/Hope area... also see a fair by of moose nugs and the odd track. There are moose in the Fraser Valley, probably not in huge numbers, but given the amount of sign/sightings vs the amount of cover, it's still decent numbers.

thats crazy. yeah i know there are 3 cows and 1 bull elk on sumas mountain but i didnt know moose were there. i thought they needed higher elevations.

I also keep hearing the story about a moose that was running around down town hope a while back, think it was 10+ years back

I've seen Moose tracks a number of times while hunting in the Skagit, never have seen a live one in there though..

Yea a good friend of mine saw a cow moose few km past silver Lake....said she was a big healthy girl
