mule deer in 7b?

anybody here what is happening with the deer season up here in 7b? it shows TBA in the synopsis. just curious because i have waited after harvesting a deer in 2005 (168). any feed back would be appreciated.

ok, talked to the folks in Victoria, and this is what I can remember (I was speeding and was late for a meeting and they were spouting lots of dates that I may not have gotten right, but there was no way I was gonna let them go).

Bow season starts Sept 1
Anterless starts Sept 1
Both rifle buck seasons are the same
the 1000m rule in regards to the anterless will be changed to 2000m
the 4 pt. rule will be changed to 3 pt.

Now these things are just proposed and will be sent to the minister for approval, but I see no reason for them not to impliment all of it.
I was also told it will most likely be posted mid august, so we have a few weeks until we get confirmation.

it would be nice for the mule deer buck and whitey buck seasons to be earlier

if this is true, it is hard to believe that they would put anterless season in with the bow hunt. i think i would put anterlress season at the end of sept to the beginning of oct, just before the buck bands break up and put the three point season from oct 10 to oct 20.

Buck season nov 1 to the 30th 4 pt only talk about a 3 pt season but no conformations as of yet to my knowledge. Though time will tell... If only they would go back to 1 buck every year, save me a trip down to the cariboo......:mrgreen:
