Anyone have any info on good spots to fish and crab on Douglas channel?
Also looking for info on how many knots of wind before it starts to get bumpy.

Mostly inflow winds in the summer months and don't usually start up until the temperature changes in late morning, depending on what size of boat your in ? but from Wright Sound at the bottom of Douglas Channel can get 3-4 footers if over 30knots for any length of time, up at the top end of Douglass Ch in Kitimat Arm from Clio Pt to Kitimat can get ugly to with inflows mid day.

from Wright Sound to Kitkiata Inlet is 16 miles, maybe ok for crab there, from there its another 15 miles to the top of Maitland Island, from there another nine miles to the mouth of Bish Creek, try there for crabs, and from there its 5 miles to Kitimat, you could also try Emsley Cove just south of Bish creek and across the channel at the head of Clio Bay,

As far as fishing I would think late July and August would be better for springs and Coho.

Some locals on here may know better spots for crabbing.....

Hey Ope, is the bay before Bishop Bay, Goat Harbor. Because it's great crabbing in there all around the mooring buoy that was there

Goat Harbour is 5 miles south of Bishop Bay in Ursula Channel, as Eddy says pretty good for crabs in there also, if you head over that way you Midas well go into Bishop Bay hot springs for a soak !
