While up fishing out of The Chilko Lake Resort, where my brother is guiding, i noticed this monster mulie hanging on the wall of the bar in the lodge. It is the biggest mulie mounted i have ever seen. It is tuly a monster. I asked all around to try and find who shot the buck or who owned it but nobody knows, I even went as far as to ask my dad's good friend who runs the resort if i could take it home with me! haha but no dice he said it just fits so well in the bar bla bla bla haha I didn't get a chance to put a tape to it besides measuring it's widest point which was 37"s I was dieing to score the buck but ran out of time, maybe i'll get my brother to when he's up there, but let me know guys and gals what you think he would score as we all know we love this game! Cheers all

37" at the widest?.....that's impressive for sure. And I thought my 29" and 32" were pretty nice. Oh well...... Maybe that's why it's so high on the wall?

I think he is going to be caught in the inbetweenie class, not enough junk for B&C Non-typ. Too much deductions for Typical!!! But WOW he is a beauty!!!! Trophy in my eyes

Ya forsure guys he' a cranker forsure. Evertime i walked by him my jaw just hit the floor. Maybe one day i'll be able to find the owner and talk him into letting me display it on my wall for a little bit haha. Just so you guys aren't frustrated with me for not scoring the buck i am having my brother score it up both non typ and typical within thenext few days i'll keep you all posted. cheers

Don't think he'll make the Book. Looks like a giant 3 point frame with some great extras. Hard to tell tine lengths with the pics being taken at the angle they were, but I'd throw out a guess of 210-220 gross NT. BC Book NT for sure, but a long ways from a net 230 NT B&C min.

Hes definatly a buck most of us would hammer in a heartbeat,i know i would.for what he would score i will say 190 net.he reminds me of a buck that gave me the slip back in the early 80s on quarts mnt. that day still haunts me.

An amazing buck for sure, but the B@C scoring system would steal the glory from that buck! It would gross pretty high as a non-typ, but would net pretty low as a typ. or a non-typ. It lacks a basic 4x4 main-frame, its main beams are nothing special, its inside spread is not huge, and its mass measurements are weak also. Definately a buck of a lifetime, but probably not a "BOONER"

Newhunterete, Try this link, it will give you a pretty good idea! If you have a 4 point rack lying around, give it a try!

Sorry im not sure where the buck was shot like i said i tried to find out but nobody knew. I'll check around a bit more.

Mark - I know you know your stuff and you pointed out his weaknesses without a doubt. I wasn't trying to say he's a booner bucks but just wondering how big booner truly is. I've seen some monster mounts but this buck in the lodge just makes me grin ear to ear everytime i pass it and heck it aint even mine! haha

A great buck in which the scoring system does not do it justice. He's not a booner but I'd shoot him.

Well my brother put a tape to him yesterday scoring it as a NT. Gross of 219 2/8! WHat a monster. The widest spread actually was over 37"s bringing it in at 38 1/8 at its widest point. Anyone want a Typical score? Ill see if he can ge ton it take care guys and gals.

Like I said Blaker, its a monster cranker of a buck, and Id piss myself with excitement if I shot him! But dont try and score that buck as a net typical. Hes got a crappy net typical frame, then tons of awesome trash to deduct, you might just end up with a 2 didgit score!
