=-ll-----------------------------------> MU 3-12 <----------------------------------------------------ll-=
------------------------------ Pennask Lake - Douglas Lake <--------------------------------------------

-- the Peachland / Kelowna back road, jock, fair populations of muley's. :idea:
Hint - walk in off the road 4 a toad! Toad means 4 point or bet tar.
-- Hike into some ruff country and BOOM!
-- Highland spruce and pine makes it mighty fine, for walkin, don't be tockin.
-- numerous water courses and sloughs by the duz zoons makes for good plant growth and needed water for thirst, those deer pant for water, hint two.
-- the Nicola valley, remember that name
-- From Hwy 5, access Quilchena and the Douglas Lake road.
Jel -- mu 3-12 -- nice area for muley hunting -- world class if yah git off yer asp --hint 4

Exactly....some are maybe starting to head to lower elevations by then, as well as adjusting accordingly to the immense hunting pressure that 3-12 gets...by then they've had 2 months to adjust, as your draw is for November..

November 3-12 might as well be a unicorn draw! My advice would be hunt close to 8-11 boundaries but even then good luck!

Second choice?

How's that possible when the hunt isn't undersubscribed and first choice applicants aren't drawn?

Agreed with above. Have been on the November hunt twice. Literally everywhere through October. Then gone Nov 1 moving lower. Work on the low side toward 8-11 or you could consider 3-12 access from Falkland but the road can be bad that time of year.

Have yet to hunt 3-12 where I didn't see muley doe (assuming it's doe if it's a draw) in October....November as said below is a different story they shift to wintering grounds I think. Lower elevation near water sources and cover, the guy that said stick to the border area of 8-11 is right, they seem to be in there (8-11) in November...slightly lower elevation and hasn't been logged quite as heavily on the edge....good luck.

I helped a friend fill a doe tag in that region last year. He went three times in November and got it done last few minutes on the last trip. Which isn't like most doe draws. Falkland area is where you should focus on. The areas you see them in oct are ghost towns in Nov. Best of luck. Dusk and dawn in the coniferous trees.

Hunt Nov 1st if you can. Wife had that draw a couple of years ago, and when we went the second week of Nov, we were just happy to get the truck turned around in 18" of fresh snow and get our asses outta there!

I'd consider the Lundbom area, lower elevation, where the weather doesn't bugger your plans as easily.
