I used a canon sd800is , nothing to fancy , it was just insane to get that close to them.

Where is Cathedral Park? The only Cathedral Park I know of is on the way to Port Alberni.

Cathedral lakes park. Beautiful country. Lots of critters. Nice pics.

I have been hiking up there a few times and there are always goats up there. It is a blast watching the kids run around. The billies are usually pretty private though. I think I have one picture of a nice billy from that area...somewhere.

A unique experience for sure. The only goats I was ever that close to were in a neighbors barn. Nice shots for sure. Too bad the Billies are such party-poopers, but I'm a bit like that myself - old, white and smelly and don't want anybody around me too. LOL.

Ya the billies were two ridges over , i only saw 2 , they stay away from the pack.
