Well, it was a very different trip the second time around. I posted before about a Grizz tag and was kinda disappointed, it was because I had gone too early in the season. I just got back from a second 8day trip and it was really, really good.
Amazing how much more wildlife comes out in just a few weeks. I didn't get my grizz, but I saw a beautiful boar and I also saw a sow and cub. The boar was too far away and I obviously wasn't gonna shoot the other two. Tons of other wildlife as well and I did get a good size black bear!
We did some fishing as well and generally had a good time.
My questions are these: my tag says good till March 2018 so that means it's still good for the fall right? If I go up in the fall I want to put a draw in for moose up there (I seen a few this trip and lots of sign) I am wondering what your opinions are on when I should get the draw. I know now that things can change pretty fast up there and there are 2 draws one from Aug to oct10 and the second from oct10 to Nov 5.
