black bear short grip

Went out east for couple days.
Seen 21 black bears in 4 days.
I on wanted a particular big red bear..no show..
T was bow hunting for 6 footer..nothing in range..
Mike was a new hunter..he harvested 2 meat bears..his first and second black bears ever.
Tim was there for the chicken Alfredo. .lo
Only 2 bears before 5 pm...19 bears between 5 pm and end of legal shooting light.
One set of big grizz tracks.
Lots of sandhill cranes.
Numerous moose.
Plenty of deer.
Grouse galore..
Bunnies were bountiful.
Great outing.

Jealous buddy! Sounds like a hell of a trip with the boys. Will be taking my boy out on Sunday. Should he a nice day out this way

Ya sounds like a hell of a good time,, that's great you helped a new hunter with his harvests....and very good news about the numerous moose and deer...I too have being seeing decent ungulates this spring, a good sign...I saw a nice big red coloured black bear the other day at 10 am but unfortunately didn't have my rifle I was working..
