Let's put all our observations and updates here as a handy reference point.

She's been a soggy spring.

Beaver Lake Road in Winfield, as the of last reports, is now open after the Clark Creek washout.

Think ahead if you're heading out this week - is there an alternate route from where I'm going if the road is destroyed behind me?

Mother Nature's road reclamation...... Let's hope many of the roads are not repaired.

The road into Roche Lake was closed for repairs today. The highway between Logan Lake and the Coq Hwy is closed, as is the road along Turtle Valley Rd. from Chase towards Skimikin L.

Only one way in and one way out where I am heading. If I pass any flooding on the way in, the potential for a long walk will be in the back of my mind.

We are looking at another repeat of last year up here in the Peace...

50-90mm of rain by tomorrow night, rain on snow conditions for the mountains and foothills.

Regional District has issued a flood watch

http://prrd.bc.ca/category/emergency/

I hope they are wrong and we do not get a repeat of last year!!

Cheers

Well it just started raining pretty heavy here for the last 15 minutes. The creek in front of our house across the road has turned brown again and is rising quick.
Zettergreen rd in Mara has been closed for the last week as the creek beside it lept its bank and made the road its channel.

Anyone know the conditions up the West pavilion? Was thinking of going camping out that way on the long weekend.
