Went past there to take my 10 year old son out for a bear hunt. He got a massive old boar on Saturday evening. His first big game animal!

Yes, 123 yard shot with his 243 shooting 80 grain Barnes TTSX. Double lung and broke the offside shoulder. We found the bullet under the skin - perfect expansion. It's a big old boar with a perfect hide.

We just hunted low elevation for black bear. Still lots of snow up high. I'd wait another couple of weeks at least for grizzly. I took one out of there in 2007. If you want specific details on a great place for grizzly, send me a PM
