Was doing some shed hunting in the north end of region 2 this weekend, no luck with the sheds but I came across this fur on the river bank and a bunch more a few yards into the bush, figured someone on here would have some insight into what it was from. Looked around for a skull or ribcage and found nothing but fur...checked a trail cam I had set up nearby but all that was on there was a big bad wolf, maybe that was his lunch.http://i1097.photobucket.com/albums/g347/FreezeWunCuts/20170505_165547_zpswax4ou3f.jpg (http://s1097.photobucket.com/user/FreezeWunCuts/media/20170505_165547_zpswax4ou3f.jpg.html)http://i1097.photobucket.com/albums/g347/FreezeWunCuts/20170505_165717_zpstjmy46s5.jpg (http://s1097.photobucket.com/user/FreezeWunCuts/media/20170505_165717_zpstjmy46s5.jpg.html)

looks like someone gave their shih-tzu a hair cut. Is that a bear print in the mud?

x2 on deer hair. I dump my hides/bones in the bush and when I go back to look at the remnants that is exactly what I see. The coyotes eat the hide right down to the hair and that is all that is left when they are done with it.

Deer hair for sure. I came across a rather fresh kill site. Lots of either wolf or coyote crap everywhere. All they left was the skull

Deer likely, could be big foot pube trimmings though
