Hey guys,

I am trying to buy a Kimber Mountain Ascent in .308 and it could be months before there are any in Canada. There seems to be lots over the border. Does anyone have any experience or tips on finding a brker to bring one over? Any feedback is appreciated.

Thx,

Just found that Prophet River Guns has a pretty decent import service for $250. Anyone use this before?

Prophet River is an excellent outfit to deal with. Have dealt with them many times over the years. Good luck.

Canadian tire in Kamloops had a few of the Kimber Mtn Ascents a few weeks ago. Might want to check them out.

Have you checked all the dealers in alberta. When I was looking for a Kimber Hunter, no one around here had them but a few guys in Alberta had them.

Doesn't international shooting supplies in Surrey import?

That's a Adirondak. Also a light gun but different from a MTN. Ascent.

You can try www.borderview.com super nice people to deal
with.... imports went very good for both some
rifles and firearm parts for me right to my door... or you have the option of picking them up in Aldergrove... shoot them a email.... with me once I got pre approval with them... I dealt directly with the seller.. paid the seller and had them (seller) ship it to Borderview.... too easy

I used Prophet River for a shotgun import. 3 weeks and it was here. I know rifles usually take longer
