Is bear hunting allowed and is it worth going?

I'm not sure if it's allowed, but I know I would hunt bear up there. To close to people house and trash for my likings. But that's just me

Couldn't find it. May be wasn't looking in correct spot

Bow hunting only, and you have to be aware of the park boundaries and private properties.
There is a decent population of blackies up there though.

Talk to the farmers, on the Hwy 11 side.
They have a hell of a time with bears in the blueberries and phuckin, with the bee hives.
Be aware of where you are, if you go hiking around.
