The back end of the whipsaw has real nice alpine and there are grizzly bears in there also.

I believe a nice place up by Tulameen called "lodestone", its a haven for skidooing but imagine a good place for alpine as its high up. Just go for a drive then hike around, probly the only good way to find out really.

Whipsaw is beautiful, but the big tire low I.Q. crowd goes there every weekend to chew up the trail. And the alpine meadows on occasion.

Or drive into the lake:

Id say whipsaw is your best bet. ITs really nice country up there and when I was up at wells last summer, I saw a bunch of nice bucks!!! Not much hunting pressure up there, cause its a long ways up but its nice country and definately worth checking out. Also another good place would be way up in behind Tulameen towards the toll booth. Never been up there but heard some good stories about it up there!!
